ETA Now Required for UK

Applying for an ETA is quick and simple. Most applicants currently get an automatic decision in minutes when applying through the UK ETA app. Visitors can find more information about applying for an ETA on GOV.UK

An ETA currently costs £20 and permits multiple journeys to the UK for stays of up to six months at a time over two years or until the holder’s passport expires – whichever is sooner. Other application services may charge a higher fee than the UK Government.

Travel Tips & News

Traveling can be stressful. To limit your possible stress in the airport, check out our handy list below. We have compiled some of our most helpful tips in making your next trip through the airport fly by.

  • Purchase Travel Insurance

  • Determine if you will need a Visa for your destination.

  • Make sure you don't pack any prohibited items. Visit http://www.tsa.gov/traveler-information or http://www.dot.gov/airconsumer/air-travel-tips for rules and regulations regarding acceptable items.

  • Leave gifts unwrapped. If you wrap gifts you purchase, or take abroad, they may be unwrapped by officials in order to search content.

  • Give the metal detectors a break. Avoid wearing clothing, jewelry, and accessories that will trip the detectors and slow you down when you travel. You can put metal items in your carry-on bag for even quicker access.

  • Know the 1+1 rule. Carry-on baggage is usually limited to one carry-on bag plus one personal item. Personal items can include: laptops, purses, small backpacks, briefcases, or camera cases.

  • Identify yourself. You should keep your photo ID and boarding pass with you and easily accessible from the time you enter the airport until you board the plane.

  • Identify your baggage. Place identification tags in and on all of your baggage. Also, place identification on personal items such as laptops, iPads, and other valuables.
